American Tackle ProStaff Casting Reel (Left Hand Retrieve)

Great reel, very low profile. It’s fits perfectly in your hand. Nice big crank to get the fish in the boat! Just as good, if not better than my Lews.

I just got mine in and initial impressions, it is an amazing reel, I cannot believe how smooth it free spools and the braking system is top of the line. I am so happy with this one I just ordered 3 more. For this price, I would put them against any of my other bait-casters that I have paid 3 times as much for. Any of them!! The Japanese bearings, I thought were a marketing gimmick. They are not, try one and I bet you will be back as fast as I was ordering more. Light and sturdy, the spool is sweet and I took it all apart to give it a good oiling and the brass is machined with precision. The tolerances appear to be very tight and this thing looks like it will be a tank. Very impressed. Customer Service during the ordering process was insane, I felt like I was ordering a custom set up from a local tackle shop. Unheard of in this industry, of volume sales. Every questioned answered by someone who really knew what they were talking about. Great recommendation Austin!!!!

Got this reel about 6 months ago and I love it I take it on every fishing trip i go to. The drag on this reel is strong and smooth which helps fight the big fish without the worry’s of the reel locking up and snapping my line, highly recommend

I have been overly impressed with the line of reels from American Tackle. I have paid a lot more for a lot less performance. Light durable and smooth. I have 8 of them. Yes they are that good!!!

I was loyal to one name brand casting reel prior to purchasing this casting reel. The Pro Staff Casting Reel is light weight and out performs my other name brand reels. It casts and reels extremely smooth and rarely backlashes. (Keep in mind, the backlash is my fault). I will definitely be replacing my reels with this model.

I've owned $300 Reels and this reel beats them hands down i now own 4 they are so good. They replaced all my lews , abu and Shimano reels. Casts and reels like butter and super smooth drag.

Awesome reel smooth casting ,very durable great for spinner baits and jigs couldn't be any happier beats my other reels makes me wanna get more.

Bought this and put it on my crankbait rod, it is AMAZING! Cast smooth and lures a mile! Durable. Wish I bought more than one.
